Nowadays, the information systems have become essential for organizations which constitute a necessity in order to take the decisions of better quality. This is the reason that forces the orientation towards the computerization process. However, all organizations are seeking an information system which allows an evolution, a development and an improvement of their business processes. This is the reason for which we consider putting in place an awareness information system so that it can sensitize citizens about contagious and infectious diseases such as AIDS (HIV) and hepatitis (A - B - C), and adapt to the needs of citizens according to their emotional states expressed during the online training, as well as other indicators of adaptation (generation, gender, city, language, knowledge level). The objective of this work is to study the management, which is responsible for the information system that helps to sensitize on sexual and reproductive health. This study is characterized by the use of information technologies and communication, aimed at improving the process, communication between users and information systems and the effectiveness of the administration, either in terms of deadlines, quality, or productivity of public officials to protect the generation

This study intends to explore Moroccan English pre-service teachers’ experience with using cell phones during their internships. Nineteen instructors were picked at random from the Rabat CRMEF (Regional Center for Education and Training Professions). Interviews were conducted with all nineteen participants. The results displayed that trainees’ preconception on the complexity of using smartphones may affect their tendency on employing this mobile tool as an instructional medium. The findings also revealed that pre-service teachers are not ready to integrate smartphones in EFL classrooms due to the lack of ICT training, distractions that smartphones bring about, and schools’ policies banning the use of this gadget.  Article visualizations

Notwithstanding the recent technological advancement, the identification of facial and emotional expressions is still one of the greatest challenges scientists have ever faced. Generally, the human face is identified as a composition made up of textures arranged in micro-patterns. Currently, there has been a tremendous increase in the use of local binary pattern based texture algorithms which have invariably been identified to being essential in the completion of a variety of tasks and in the extraction of essential attributes from an image. Over the years, lots of LBP variants have been literally reviewed. However, what is left is a thorough and comprehensive analysis of their independent performance. This research work aims at filling this gap by performing a large-scale performance evaluation of 46 recent state-of-the-art LBP variants for facial expression recognition. Extensive experimental results on the well-known challenging and benchmark KDEF, JAFFE, CK and MUG databases taken under different facial expression conditions, indicate that a number of evaluated state-of-the-art LBP-like methods achieve promising results, which are better or competitive than several recent state-of-the-art facial recognition systems. Recognition rates of 100%, 98.57%, 95.92% and 100% have been reached for CK, JAFFE, KDEF and MUG databases, respectively

This article investigates the significant influence of smart radios on the energy efficiency of Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs). It explores the incorporation of intelligent radios as a crucial element to enhance WSNs’ sustainability, providing a novel approach to tackle energy-related challenges. Smart radios are essential for prolonging the lifespan of sensor devices and reducing the environmental effect of WSNs by autonomously adjusting communication protocols and optimizing energy consumption. This paper also highlights the differences between 5G and 6G technologies within the WSNs framework. While 5G brought improvements in data speed and connectivity, 6G represents a significant progress by prioritizing energy efficiency as a fundamental goal. This shift represents a fundamental change, with a primary focus on achieving extremely low energy consumption and ensuring the sustainable operation of WSNs. The paper examines crucial technological factors enabling 6G to outperform its predecessor, establishing it as a revolutionary force in the field of wireless communication for sensor networks. This research illuminates the crucial function performed by smart radios in connecting the desire for energy efficiency with the changing environment of wireless sensor networks

In a world increasingly dependent on energy, understanding its fundamental concepts becomes paramount. As we navigate complex global challenges related to sustainability and innovation, educating the younger generation about energy is crucial. Computer simulation learning has emerged as a pivotal tool in optimizing teaching methodologies, particularly when it comes to comprehending and mastering energy-related concepts. This innovative approach provides an immersive experience, allowing students to practically and interactively explore the intricate principles of energy. Focused on the industrial technology associated with energy, this study delves into the application of computer simulation to enhance the understanding of adolescents aged 13 to 16. A sample of students, spanning three classes, underwent electrical circuit manipulation tests utilizing simulation software. Analysis of the results, employing Pearson’s correlation coefficient, revealed a significant enhancement in the comprehension of energy concepts through simulation-based learning. By enabling students to visualize and experiment with various energy-related scenarios

The Impact of Mobile Phones on High School Students: Connecting the Research Dots

Due to the ubiquity of mobile phones throughout the world, there have been extensive scholarly research on their impact within and across areas. Researchers have looked at the impact of this device from different angles, and many scholars have been concerned with the extent to which its usage affects students' academic performance, particularly in high-school. Several scholars (Kevin Thomas and Marco A. Munoz, 2016, Hosoglu, 2019) have probed the topic using different databases, but the present paper is one of the few to examine Scopus, Science Direct, Web of Science and Cairn with a two-fold aim, namely to summarize the state-of-the-art in this subject area, and, most importantly, to discuss the researchers' attitudes. 70 articles from the three databases were selected following the PRISMA guidelines to investigate the researchers' decade-long trends in the literature. We discerned different attitudes and results vis-a-vis the mobile phone impact depending on the variables treated and the location of the study

Abstract Background Forty-six ,XY Differences/Disorders of Sex Development (DSD) are characterized by a broad phenotypic spectrum ranging from typical female to male with undervirilized external genitalia, or more rarely testicular regression with a typical male phenotype. Despite progress in the genetic diagnosis of DSD, most 46,XY DSD cases remain idiopathic. Methods To determine the genetic causes of 46,XY DSD, we studied 165 patients of Tunisian ancestry, who presented a wide range of DSD phenotypes. Karyotyping, candidate gene sequencing, and whole-exome sequencing (WES) were performed. Results Cytogenetic abnormalities, including a high frequency of sex chromosomal anomalies (85.4%), explained the phenotype in 30.9% (51/165) of the cohort. Sanger sequencing of candidate genes identified a novel pathogenic variant in the SRY gene in a patient with 46,XY gonadal dysgenesis. An exome screen of a sub-group of 44 patients with 46,XY DSD revealed pathogenic or likely pathogenic variants in 38.6% (17/44) of patients. Conclusion Rare or novel pathogenic variants were identified in the AR, SRD5A2, ZNRF3, SOX8, SOX9 and HHAT genes. Overall our data indicate a genetic diagnosis rate of 41.2% (68/165) in the group of 46,XY DSD
